Eiichah the first word of Megilath Eiichah ּ- “The Revelation That Begins with the Word Eiichah” (To be explained momentarily.)
As usual- throughout Torah Learning & life - It is in passing we learn additional things - so we must always stay awake & not miss something important. While The Sages are Transmitting the real order of The 24 Books of Tanakh/Scripture- we learn that Eiichah is really called [Megillath] KiiNoTh - “[The Revelation of] Lamentations.” (Bavli BavaBathra 14a -R)
(Lament means: “a passionate expression of grief & sorrow…regret mourning - from latin lamenta weeping/wailing.” - New Oxford American Dictionary.)
The Reason that it is called a “REVELATION of Lamentations”- is made clear by Our Sages- may they & their families be well:

For whatever the reasons- the people did not change & were unmoved by the prophets teachings/messages/warnings, however that could be. They did not believe such a thing could ever happen to such a mighty city, & only when they locked their fate - & did not change the evils of their ways- did these prophetic words take place - as actually detailed in the book of Yirmiyahoo (Jereamiah).
